Four aspects lead to success for your blog

Four aspects lead to success for your blogThe first thing you need is talent. Now, when people hear ‘talent’, they are led to believe that only the best or a chosen few are deemed worthy to have that magical quality pulsing in their veins. Little do they know that we are all unique in different ways, and have attributes that allow us to excel in certain areas, and others less.

You need to pick a niche that plays to your strengths, gives you advantages over others, and allows you to perform at your best. Give careful thought to where you decide to venture forth, and ask if it is what you are comfortable with. Allow your talents to prosper in areas where they are most suitable.

Next, you need to develop and maintain focus. Can you retain your enthusiasm, interest and desire on the chosen niche? Or will it last for all of 5 minutes before you jump from blogging to selling second hand Chanel bags on eBay? Would you be like the others who blog 60 posts in their first month, all excited, before disappearing back into their surfing world after their second?

The top bloggers in every niche took years to reach their present incarnation. Their focus comes from an enduring commitment to their chosen fields of endeavor. To be the best at what you are doing, focus is crucial.

Staying focused lays the foundation. But you have to raise the pillars with consistent effort. Pure hard work. Challenge yourself to go one better. Pressure yourself by setting goals and targets. Do not just achieve them - improve on them wherever you can. Getting to the top can be a real easy ride if you know the steps, but if you just go through the motions, sliding back down and hitting the ditch will result. To be the best, you have got to beat the best. And that might just be you.

Finally, you have heard this often enough when champions win under trying circumstances. Opponents are quick to attribute this to champion’s luck. You certainly need a dose of good luck as there will be times when certain things might be beyond control. Talent can be plentiful, you stay focused and work your butt off, but still do not hit the heady heights of success.
Yet, do not fall into the trap of blaming this on bad luck. It is easy to do so, but it could just as well be poor decisions, temporary lack of focus, or taking a quick shortcut when the little devil in the left ear started whispering. Be quick to understand that you concentrate on what can be controlled. If you do justice to the first three requirements, good luck will more often than not follow you, just like it does every champion. And if it fails to do so, remember too that a true champion - the very best - hits back twice as hard when the chips are down.

Talent, focus, hard consistent effort and luck - remember these and guide your endeavors along the same path.”

Kontera - a better advertising way in your blog

Kontera - a better advertising way in your blog I would like to tell you about the Israeli Advertising Network - Kontera Technologies. This advertising network uses the method of advertisement representation different from Google Adsense.

You just locate a special Java-script-code on your site, which analyses the content of pages and automatically represents the most popular key-words in the form of hyper-references with the floating advertisements. Such type of context distribution is especially popular among the sites with the limited advertising areas, as you don’t need to refuse the other advertising positions on the page for the code-location.

5 types of representation of advertisements are available for the advertisers: textual, text with image, banner, video and flash. as it is stated in the press-releases of Kontera Technologies, the advertisers can take into account not so bad CTR-10%. and this means that the advertising areas holders can expect good profit.
In order to get the earned money, you should save up $100 minimum. the pay-out you can get by cheque, or through the Wire Transfer for $30.

In order to start earning money together with the Advertising Network Kontera, it’s necessary that your site should satisfy the following requirements:

- over 500.000 representations of pages a months;
- over 50 words on the site-pages;
- basic language should be English.

Nevertheless, if your site is not so popular, you can register in any case, if you indicate in the commentary to the application: “John Chow Kontera Partnership”. Then while examining of your application the administration won’t pay attention to the quantity of traffic.

How to optimize the representation of Kontera’s advertisements?
In order your site would be completely indexed by Kontera’s works, it’s demanded that minimum should pass. Besides, there are also the other things which you are strongly recommended to do, in order to increase your profit.

Make sure, that the other flash-banners don’t cover the representations of kontera’s advertisements.
Unfortunately, flash-banners have such a peculiarity that they cover the floating Kontera bocks. As you can see, this is not the best variant. In this case, you’ll have to refuse flashes, or to do something so that Kontera’s advertisements wouldn’t be represented near-abouts (read further how to do it).

Watch closely, that Kontera’s advertising references should be located in the main content of pages.
Kontera’s advertisements are the most effective, if the references are located within the main text, but not in the sidebar , titles or in some other place. you can italicize those parts of pages where you would like to see Kontera’s advertisements.

Tips to Become a Productive Blogger

Tips to Become a Productive BloggerSubscribe through RSS to your favorite blogs (it will save you hours)

Focus on your own niche

Think ahead: plan monthly, weekly and daily.

Have a backup plan

Concentrate on ONE income producing strategy and make money before moving onto the next.

Don’t buy every ebook that hits the market, focus on one, save your money and turn your new found knowledge into income.

Use a time and activity tracking tool.

Check your stats and analyze what works and what doesn’t Write blog posts first, comment after, surf last Assign time slots for each task. If you feel stuck move onto the next task and go back later.

Outsource work: this obviously only applies, once you are earning money and you simply feel that you cannot effectively use your time for tasks that you struggle with.

Always carry a small notebook and pen: I get inspiration at the weirdest of moments, like at 1AM in the morning and if I don’t write these ideas down immediately they will be lost forever.
If you want to make money, you will need to start each day by focusing on your income producing tasks first.

JV with a trusted person: a JV can take some of the workload off you and since both partners focus on the same results it will help each person get more done in less time.

Don’t get caught up in negative name calling on your own or other blogs. Unfortunately this seems to be the current scenario on some blogs and really all it serves is to stop the individual from being productive. Name calling will rarely get something achieved.

Read personal development: this might sound strange to some as you might think “how the heck can I find time to read, when I already struggle with my time”? Trust me, it helps!

Start small: most often we fail to accomplish things, because we are trying to do too much at once.

Use building blocks to top up your productive blogging and within 1 month you can already achieve double to what you do now.

Keep balance in your life: I’m still working on this one.

Have fun: take fun out of the equation and you might as well pack your bags!

Please understand that things don’t just improve overnight. Implement what works for you and see, where this will take you.

Hopefully to a more productive blogging experience.
